Core Ideology: Lead the transformation of the dental hygiene profession to improve the public’s oral and overall health.
Vision Statement: Dental hygienists are integrated into the healthcare delivery system as essential primary care providers to expand access to oral health care.
MEMBERSHIP GOAL

THE DENTAL HYGIENE COMMUNITY WILL UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF MDHA MEMBERSHIP AND CHOOSE TO BELONG
Objective | Increase our relevance to members, dental hygiene students and potential members |
1. Strategy | Promote knowledge and utilization of ADHA/MDHA services and benefits (ALL COUNCILS) |
Action Plans | · Update and enhance website (ALL COUNCILS)
· Utilize the Internet through Facebook, and other social media avenues to reach out to Hygienists (CPR) |
2. Strategy | Foster relationships within the DH Community (CMS, CPR, CER, CPH) |
