Winners announced at the Student Summit April 13, 2024. Attendance preferred.
The following criteria must be met to be considered for the available MDHA Student Awards:
- Applicants must be a permanent resident of Massachusetts regardless of school choice.
- Applicants must be entering at least their second year in an accredited Dental Hygiene program or pursuing higher degrees in dental hygiene, public health, or research.
- A current transcript. (an unofficial transcript is sufficient). To be considered for any award students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- A letter of recommendation. Letters from Program Directors or faculty of the applicant are acceptable.
- An essay indicating their interests, career goals and views of Dental Hygiene. Essays shall be no more than 500 words.
